Our innovative glass entrance product, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4TBL38CL) is a frameless glass door rail system engineered for fast installation and superior glass retention. The exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) secures the glass by applying downward pressure from two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions via a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tensioned with socket head cap bolts, angled wedges in the rail draw the extrusions together and compress the door retaining gasket — creating tremendous holding force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail) for reliable long-term performance in commercial glass doors and storefronts.

The Wedge-Lock® system offers the fastest install times of any door rail: experienced installers can prepare a door in under ten minutes. Rails ship fully fabricated with end caps installed and include an adjustable door alignment slide, allowing 1/8" (3.2 mm) in/out adjustment at both top and bottom without removing the door. After installation, access three socket head cap bolts under the end cap to lock or fine-tune alignment. The low-profile adjustable slide accommodates pivots with slotted grooves and can be fabricated for vertically out-of-square openings.
