Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, uses the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2, Canadian Patent 2,419,706, and European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) to secure the glass through bottom-applied wedge pressure. Two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar are drawn down with socket head cap bolts; the angled extrusions engage the door rail groove and compress the gasket, producing very high retaining force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" / 228.6 mm corner rail).

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers a secure, long-lasting attachment and the fastest installation time for door rails. Experienced installers can prepare a door for install in under ten minutes. Rails ship fully fabricated with End Caps installed; after mounting the rail, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

Standard top and bottom adjustable door alignment slides allow ±1/8" (3 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door. To adjust after installation, remove the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt locks the slide, the two outer bolts adjust +/-1/8". The low-profile slide permits pivot placement other than the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
