Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). Designed for commercial glass doors, this door rail system secures monolithic tempered glass by applying downward pressure with two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tensioned with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the rail to produce high clamping force (more than 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail), delivering exceptional glass retention and long-term durability.

Installation & adjustment: After rail installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the preassembled adjustable door alignment slide. To fine-tune the door, remove the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts — the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts provide the 1/8" adjustment.

Ordering notes: All Wedge-Lock® Door Rails include the built-in Jamb Alignment Block; arms, pivots, closer arms, and keyed cylinders/thumbturns must be ordered separately. Models with locks are supplied with the lock mechanism installed; matching keyed cylinders or thumbturns sold separately. Custom finishes and widths available upon request.
