Cat. No. 877 Silicone Foam and Metal Spacer Insulating Glass Sealant is a single-component urethane designed for fabricating durable single-seal insulating glass units. Use an SGT polyethylene sealant guide to match the Super Spacer® width and backfill to the glass edge. This low-solvent formulation is made to be compatible with Super Spacer® adsorbent and eliminates the need for a polyisobutylene primary seal when used as recommended. Cat. No. 877 also works with adsorbent-filled aluminum spacers.

877 sealant performs best when assembling insulating glass units at temperatures above 40°F (5°C) and relative humidity above 40%. Typical tack-free time: 45–60 minutes at 77°F (25°C). Typical cure rate: 3/16" (4.8 mm) per 24 hours.

NOTE: Insulating glass units must be fully sealed with Cat. No. 877 within one hour of exposing Super Spacer® adsorbent or adsorbent-filled aluminum spacers to the atmosphere. Cartridge sealants can be combined for quantity pricing.
