CRL-Blumcraft® manufactures a complete line of access control handles and panic hardware designed specifically for all-glass door applications. Our product range includes panic devices, deadbolt handles, electronic egress control handles, and matching dummy handles for a consistent project appearance without added cost.
The operating mechanism is concealed within the vertical tubing of our panic handles and retracts the latch bolt when the interior actuation bar is pushed. An optional exterior keyed access device provides secure entry, and a dogging feature allows doors to remain unlocked during business hours. Electronic strikes are available for remote or keyless entry; custom headers with strike hardware can be provided for convenience.
These tubular panic handles maximize viewing area and deliver a contemporary aesthetic on 1/2" to 3/4" (12 to 19 mm) tempered glass doors. The interior portion is a slender 1-1/4" (32 mm) tube that spans the door and turns upward to the top, keeping the lower door clear to meet ADA requirements. The PA100 Series is a popular, ADA-conscious solution within this line.
All PA100 Series panic handles include a dogging feature to lock the device in the open position for business hours and are compatible with electric strikes for secure entry control.
