The Blumcraft PA-310 Panic Device (SKU: PA310FS4GKPS) is a slim, two-piece panic hardware solution engineered for glass doors. Its independent, ultra-narrow crash bar securely attaches to the slim vertical panic component to deliver full‑length ladder pull aesthetics (10" above finished floor) on both interior and exterior faces while minimizing alignment problems common with traditional panic devices. This vertical panic handle system is ideal as a panic device for glass doors and retrofit projects where narrow stile appearance and thermal performance matter.
The operating mechanism is concealed inside the vertical tubing and retracts the latch bolt when the interior actuation bar is pushed. Optional components include a keyed exterior access device for controlled entry, a special dogging feature to keep doors unlocked during business hours, and compatibility with electronic strikes for secured access control.
