The CRL-Blumcraft® B1250 Floating Transom System provides a clean, 'all-glass' look with minimal metal, and requires no holes or notches in the transom or sidelites. The narrow header of the B1250 is suspended from the C7500 Series Head Channel by thin stainless steel rods that are concealed in the gaps between the transom and sidelites.
Constructed of solid steel for ultimate strength, the B1250 Header is clad with brushed or polished stainless steel. Custom finishes are available upon request. The B1250 Floating Transom Bar 'sandwiches' the sidelite glass with concealed pressure pads, giving the system lateral support without any holes in the glass. Transom Bars can be designed to mount to walls or framing, and can also be used with Egress Handles in combination with electric strikes. The system is also available with glass or metal stabilizer fins when wind load conditions are greater than what the standard system can withstand.
