CRL-Blumcraft® manufactures a complete line of access control handles for all-glass doors, including panic devices, deadbolt handles, and electronic egress control handles. Matching dummy handles are available to preserve a consistent appearance across projects while reducing cost.
An electronic switch concealed within the vertical tubing of the Electronic Egress Control Handle releases the magnetic lock at the top or bottom of the door when the interior actuation bar is pushed. Consult local building codes for the acceptability of electro-magnetic locking hardware.
CRL EG100 Series Electronic Egress Control Handles (SKU: EG100F4RKPT) provide an economical way to control access and allow safe exit while maintaining maximum viewing area and a contemporary look for 1/2" or 3/4" tempered glass doors. These tubular electronic egress control handles for glass doors are designed to meet A.D.A. requirements for unobstructed lower-door areas.
The interior portion is a slender 1-1/4" (32 mm) tube that stretches across the door and turns upward to the top, eliminating interference in the lower half of the door to satisfy A.D.A. demands.
