Our CRL‑Blumcraft® Electronic Egress Control Handles provide an economical, code‑conscious method to control access while preserving the clean sightlines of all‑glass entrance doors. Pushing the handle actuates an electronic switch that releases the electromagnetic lock mounted at the top or bottom of the door for safe egress. These egress handles are ready to install on 36"–48" (914 mm–1.22 m) wide doors, 90"–102" (2.29–2.59 m) tall, without modification. Installable on single and double tempered glass doors — ideal for commercial storefronts, office suites, and secure glass entrances. Consult local building codes for electromagnetic locking and egress hardware requirements.

Stock Electronic Egress Control Handles are manufactured with the horizontal bar centered 42" (1.07 m) from the floor on a 96" (2.44 m) door. On shorter or taller doors the mounting height adjusts proportionally, not exceeding 48" (1.22 m) or falling below 36" (914 mm), in accordance with Uniform Building Code hardware location recommendations. Verify local code requirements for final placement.
