The PA100 Series panic handles conceal the operating mechanism within a vertical tube that retracts the latch bolt when the interior actuation bar is pushed. This slender 1-1/4" (32 mm) tube runs across the door and turns upward to the top, keeping the lower half of the door clear to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements—an ideal solution for ADA compliant panic hardware for tempered glass doors.
