Our CRL‑Blumcraft® Electronic Egress Control Handles provide economical access control and safe egress for all‑glass doors while preserving visibility. Pushing the handle activates an electronic switch that releases the electromagnetic lock at the top or bottom of the door. Ready‑to‑install for 36" to 48" (914 mm–1.22 m) wide doors and heights 90"–102" (2.29–2.59 m) without modification. Suitable for single and double doors. Consult local building codes regarding electromagnetic locking hardware and egress compliance.

Stock handles are manufactured so the horizontal bar is centered 42" (1.07 m) from the bottom of a 96" (2.44 m) door. For shorter or taller doors the bar location adjusts but will not exceed 48" (1.22 m) or be lower than 36" (914 mm) from the floor, conforming to current Uniform Building Code hardware location requirements. Verify local codes for additional requirements.
