Our CRL Electronic Egress Control Handles provide an economical, code-conscious solution for secure entry and safe exit on all-glass doors. Push the horizontal bar to activate an internal electronic switch that releases the magnetic lock (top or bottom) for egress. Ready-to-install on 36"–48" (914 mm–1.22 m) wide doors and 90"–102" (2.29–2.59 m) tall doors without modification. Suitable for single or double glass doors; consult local building codes regarding electromagnetic locking hardware and egress requirements.

Stock Electronic Egress Control Handles are manufactured so the horizontal bar is centered 42" (1.07 m) from the floor on a 96" (2.44 m) door. On shorter or taller doors the bar location will adjust but will not exceed 48" (1.22 m) or be lower than 36" (914 mm) from the floor, meeting current Uniform Building Code hardware location requirements. Verify local codes for additional mandates.
