CRL-Blumcraft® 250 Series Doors and Sidelites (SKU 25P34DU) are narrow-profile aluminum glass doors designed for commercial storefronts and interior openings. Rails and vertical stiles are bonded to the tempered glass and can be factory-prepped for a wide variety of door closers, pivots and hardware. Options include a bottom-rail lock or doors supplied complete with CRL Egress Handles, ready to install. These fully glazed, narrow-profile doors are ideal when a clean, modern glass door presentation is required.
250 Series doors use the same solid aluminum narrow profile rail design as the 150 Series, plus narrow vertical stiles that can be specified with or without weatherstripping. Standard finishes: satin anodized, black bronze anodized, black powder coat, brushed stainless, polished stainless, and polished brass. Custom finishes available on special order. Maximum door size: 42" (1.07 m) wide × 108" (2.74 m) tall.
Adjustable pivot blocks are factory-installed in the rails to match the selected closer hardware. For overhead closers, the doors include an adjustable pivot arm in the top rail and a heavy-duty bottom pivot engineered for narrow-profile rails. For floor-mounted closers, adjustable heavy-duty top and bottom inserts accept floor closers and top pivots. These features ensure compatibility with commercial door closer systems and simplified installation.
Matching fully glazed sidelites use solid aluminum rails (anodized or clad) for a uniform look across the opening. The 250 Series is a strong option for architects and contractors specifying narrow profile aluminum glass doors with tempered glazing and custom finishes.
