Overview

CRL-Blumcraft® 3243 Series Cap Rails (SKU 3243SA) are extruded from 6063-T5 aluminum for durable, architectural-grade aluminum cap rails designed for 3/4" tempered glass applications. These aluminum cap rails provide a clean finished edge for glass railings and balustrades and are available in two architectural finishes or mill aluminum from stock. For proper installation and long-term performance, stainless steel adapter strips, Very High Bond cladding tape, and splice pins are required (adapter strips sold separately).
Installation notes: Install the stainless steel adapter strips to the glass edge with Very High Bond tape before sliding on the cap rail. Each cap rail ships with pre-drilled holes at 24" (610 mm) on center and set screws for secure attachment to the adapter strips.
