CRL Cardiff Series Pivot Hinges (SKU: CAR07BBRZ) are engineered for 5/16" (8 mm) to 3/8" (10 mm) tempered safety glass and offer versatile mounting options for frameless shower doors and glass enclosures. Unlike standard side-mount hinges, the top-and-bottom mount and U-clamp design shows more glass, reduces required cut-outs, and provides clearance for towel bars and wall projections. These solid-brass, self-centering hinges use four springs for maximum retention strength and carry the bulk of the weight at the bottom for stable operation. Optional 5º pre-set pivot pin sets (sold separately) let you adjust the closing position by 5º. The Cardiff Series is compatible with our Deluxe Header System for enclosures that don’t extend to the ceiling.

NOTE: Optional 5º Pivot Pin Set (for Cardiff, Prima, Rondo, and Shell Series) — sold as a set of two (top and bottom). May be installed prior to or retrofitted after hinge installation. Not included with hinge purchase.

Using two hinges: With 5/16" or 3/8" glass (8 or 10 mm), each hinge set will hold up to 100 lbs. (45 kg) with a maximum door width of 31" (787 mm).
