CRL Senior Cardiff Series Top and Bottom Mount Pivot Hinges (SKU: SRCAR01BBRZ) are precision-engineered pivot hinges for 1/2" (12 mm) tempered safety glass shower doors. These solid brass hinges are top-and-bottom mounted to concentrate the majority of door weight on the bottom hinge and can be inset from the door edge to allow clearance for towel bars and other projections — a practical long-tail solution for frameless shower door installations that reduces glass cut-outs and fabrication costs compared with side-mount glass-to-glass hinges.

Senior Cardiff hinges are self-centering with four strong internal springs for maximum retention strength and reliable closing performance. They are adaptable to CRL’s Deluxe Header System using the Senior Adapter Block (SRHAB01) and can alternatively be floor-and-ceiling mounted for full-height doors.

Performance: Using two hinges with 1/2" (12 mm) glass, the assembly will support up to 145 lbs (66 kg) with a maximum door width of 36" (914 mm).
