CRL Cardiff Series Pivot Hinges are precision pivot hinges for 5/16" (8 mm) to 3/8" (10 mm) tempered safety glass—ideal for framed and frameless shower doors. These pivot door hinges shift most of the load to the bottom pivot and can be inset from the wall to provide clearance for towel bars and other projections, making them a preferred choice for custom shower door installations and retrofit shower hinge projects. Cardiff hinges are self-centering with four springs for maximum retention strength. Optional 5º pre-set pivot pin sets (sold separately) let you alter the closing position by 5º. The series is compatible with the Deluxe Header System for enclosures that do not extend to the ceiling.

NOTE: Optional 5º Pivot Pin Set (for Cardiff, Prima, Rondo, and Shell Series) — sold as a set of two (top and bottom). Can be installed before or retrofitted after hinge installation. Not included with hinge purchase.

Using two hinges with 5/16" or 3/8" glass (8 or 10 mm): supports up to 100 lbs. (45 kg) with a maximum door width of 31" (787 mm). Ideal for tempered glass shower door hinges in residential and hotel shower applications.
