Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). Designed for frameless glass doors, the Wedge-Lock® system secures glass by applying downward pressure through two aluminum glass-retaining extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tensioned with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions engage an internal rail groove to generate high clamp force (more than 900 lbs. in the 9" / 228.6 mm corner rail), delivering reliable glass retention for 9" and full-length rails alike.

The Wedge-Lock® system not only provides superior glass retention but also the fastest installation time among door rails for glass doors. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After mounting the rail, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

The standard Adjustable Door Alignment System lets you move the door 1/8" (3 mm) toward or away from the jamb without removing the door — available on both top and bottom rails. To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt locks the slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" (3 mm) in or out. The low-profile slide allows pivot placement off the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), accommodating vertically out-of-square openings.
