Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4TBS12CL) features the exclusive Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). Designed for 1/2" (12 mm) monolithic tempered glass, this door rail system uses dual glass retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar tightened with socket head cap bolts to generate exceptional clamping force—over 900 lbs. in the 9" (228.6 mm) corner rail—producing secure, long-lasting retention without two-piece housings.

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers the fastest installation time among door rails: experienced installers can prepare a door for hanging in under ten minutes. Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After rail attachment, simply mount the door arm or pivot to the assembled adjustable door alignment slide (pivot/arm sold separately).

The standard Adjustable Door Alignment System allows ±1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb on both top and bottom rails without removing the door. End-cap removal exposes three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts provide the 1/8" in/out adjustment. The low-profile slide also enables non‑standard pivot setback positions to accommodate vertically out-of-square openings.
