CRL's Premium Cap Rails are manufactured using a precision Bump-Forming process that produces tighter tolerances, a consistent radius, and reduced spring-back versus roll-formed cap rails. Welds on both sides of the internal channel increase strength and stability, preventing twist or discoloration at welded corners. These features make the GR35BS an ideal bump-formed cap rail for glass balustrades, handrails, and architectural railing systems.

All Premium Cap Rail is formed with precision tooling for uniform diameters and smooth hairline transitions at splices, corners, and end caps. The internal channel is welded for added rigidity to support fabrication and finished installations. Use Cat. No. 32629 Metal Contact Cement to achieve a secure, permanent bond at all connections and connector sleeves to join cap rails. Standard stock is sold in 120" (3.05 m) lengths; 168" (4.27 m) and custom lengths available on request.

Installation Notes:

• With 1/2" (12 mm) glass: use Cat. No. GR5PV cap rail vinyl and 95CBL silicone
• With 5/8" (16 mm) glass: secure with 95CBL silicone and shims
• With 3/4" (19 mm) glass: use 95CBL silicone and shims
