An innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR6SBS34CL) uses the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) to secure monolithic tempered glass with exceptional holding force.

The system applies controlled downward pressure via two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As socket head cap bolts pull the bar down, angled extrusions engage the tapered groove in the rail, creating wedge pressure that generates more than 900 lbs. of holding force in the 9" (228.6 mm) corner rail—delivering rock-solid retention across full-length door rails.

NOTE: All Wedge-Lock® Door Rails include the built-in Jamb Alignment Block. Arms, pivots, closer arms and floor/overhead pivots must be ordered separately to meet job requirements.

After installation, remove the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the adjustable slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide ±1/8" (3.2 mm). Matching finish keyed cylinders or thumbturns are ordered separately for models with locks.
