Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU DR4SBS38S) features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2, Canadian Patent 2,419,706, and European Patent No. EP 1 404 939 B1). This glass door rail for commercial entrances secures the glass by applying downward pressure through two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tensioned with socket head cap bolts, the angled extrusions engage the angled groove in the door rail, creating high compressive force (more than 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail) to firmly clamp tempered glass in place — delivering exceptional holding power across the full 35-3/4" rail length.

The Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System provides fast, reliable installation for commercial glass doors. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After mounting the rail, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide pre-assembled in the rail. The adjustable door alignment system allows +/-1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door — standard on both top and bottom rails.

To fine-tune alignment after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" (3.2 mm) in or out. The low-profile adjustable slide accommodates pivots with slotted grooves and can be fabricated for vertically out-of-square openings.
