The CRL Left Hand Sidelite Mounted Transom Patch with Support Fin Bracket is used to support a transom from a sidelite glass panel. It comes with a INT300 Insert for mounting a door with a CRL PH20A or PH21A Top Door Patch Fitting. For single doors, the insert can be removed on the non-hinged side allowing for a double swinging door. A INT306 Transom Patch Door Stop Insert can be used to create a one way door. Also, a INT305 Transom Patch Keeper Insert can be installed for use with an AMR205 Lock when used for a top of the door installation. The support fin glass should be sized in accordance with approved design criteria (refer to GANA or Manufacturers Manual) and secured to the ceiling with a Ceiling Mounted Support Fin Bracket.

If the weight of the transom exceeds 100 lbs. (45.4 kg) the transom must be supported from the ceiling. This is to prevent the Patches from slipping from too much weight. Use either Cat. No. B5BC Smoke Baffle Channel or PH94 Patch Fittings. Please contact our Technical Sales Department for assistance.
