CRL Geneva Series Hinges (SKU: GEN045CH) — professional-grade glass shower door hinges designed for frameless and semi-frameless enclosures. These solid brass, corrosion-resistant hinges use stainless steel pins and springs for long-lasting performance. Ideal for glass shower doors, the Geneva Series supports 5/16" (8 mm) to 1/2" (12 mm) tempered safety glass and is available in multiple finishes to match bathroom hardware.

Key Differentiators: Geneva Hinges are self-centering and include a reversible 5º pivot pin (standard models ship set to 90º). Custom pivot pins (Cat. No. GENP1N) are available up to 45º for off-angle installations. Multiple wall-mount and glass-to-glass styles provide design flexibility for frameless glass shower doors.

Standard Reversible Pivot Pin: Each hinge contains a reversible pivot pin marked 90º on one side and 85º on the other. Standard hinges ship with the 90º side active; Offset models are pre-set to 85º for a 5º tighter closure into the shower interior. The pin can be rotated to change the active side.

Custom Pivot Pin: If the 5º option does not achieve the desired closing position, specify a Custom Pivot Pin (GENP1N) up to 45º. Contact Technical Sales Shower Door Department before ordering, as custom pins can affect glass sizes and enclosure aesthetics.

Load capacity: using two hinges with 8–12 mm glass, holds up to 80 lbs (36 kg) with a maximum door width of 28" (711 mm). Using three hinges, holds up to 120 lbs (54 kg) with a maximum door width of 32" (813 mm).
