Our CRL Z-Series Round Type Radius Base Glass Clamps (SKU: Z212CH) accept glass from 1/4" to 1/2" (6–12 mm) and are available in zinc or stainless steel. These radius-base glass clamps are ideal as a glass clamp for 12 mm glass used on 1-1/2" or 2" (38 or 50.8 mm) diameter round tubing for partitions, railings and exterior windbreaks. Stainless steel or powder-painted zinc finishes are recommended for increased durability in exterior applications.

Installation & hardware: For securing the Z-clamp to thin-wall tubing (<1/8"), use CRL ZB0LT socket head cap bolt and ZRNUT rivet-nut. Drill a 17/32" (13.5 mm) hole, then install the rivet-nut using the 34604 heavy-duty thread insert tool with 34618 5/16" mandrel and nosepiece.

Glass fabrication notes:

• For 1/4" (6 mm), 5/16" (8 mm) and 3/8" (10 mm) glass: a 1/2" (12 mm) notch is required when using the provided steel pin for support.
• For 1/2" (12 mm) glass: a 9/16" (14 mm) diameter hole is required when using the provided steel pin for support.

Includes: Rubber gaskets and steel pin with grommet. Replacement hardware: CRL ZCS5X5CH (screws) and CRL Cat. No. Z12RG (replacement gaskets).

Safety & usage: For interior installations where the glass is not supported on the bottom edge, CRL recommends pinning each glass panel to prevent slippage. Rubber gaskets and steel pins are provided with each clamp.
