This CRL 1/2" OD Replacement Macaroni (SKU HW059) protects the drilled hole in the glass from the threaded screw on the standoff cap. Designed for glass standoff assemblies, it fits 3/4" (19 mm) Standoff Cap Assemblies and works as a 1/2" OD macaroni protector for frameless glass standoffs.
The macaroni is a standard component of the cap assembly but may need periodic replacement depending on how often standoffs are disassembled. Anyone who installs or services CRL standoffs should keep extra replacement macaroni protectors in stock to prevent glass chipping and prolong standoff hardware life.
