The rollers on this combination CRL Nylon Flat Edge Roller and Spline Tool are riveted to a steel yoke and mounted to a contour-grip finished wood handle for durable, consistent performance. Designed for glazing vinyl and shade screen work, this 2" wide nylon roller smooths flat spline and helps seat vinyl prior to frame insertion.
Differentiators: riveted nylon rollers on a steel yoke, contoured finished wood handle, and a wide 2" roller surface that reduces burrs and snagging during installation.
Helpful Tip for Rolling Fiberglass Screens: Before rolling spline (with screen wire) into the bottom of the groove on the first pass, use this steel flat edge roller to seat the spline into the top of the groove. Once the frame is fully assembled, finish with a concave edge roller to reduce hourglass bow-in caused by over-tightening on the first pass.
