Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4TPT12CL), secures glass using the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System. Rather than relying on split housings, the system pulls two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions together with a flat stainless steel bar and socket head cap bolts into an angled rail groove. Combined with a purpose-designed door retaining gasket, this wedge action generates exceptional clamping force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail), delivering industry-leading glass retention and long-term reliability for custom-length 1/2" (12 mm) door rails and other glass door configurations.

The Wedge-Lock® design reduces install time — experienced installers can prepare a door for hanging in under ten minutes. Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps in place. After mounting the rail, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

The standard Adjustable Door Alignment System (top and bottom rails) allows 1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door. End-cap removal exposes three socket head cap bolts: the center secures the slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide in or out. The slide’s low profile permits pivot placement other than the American Standard 2-3/4" setback, enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
