CRL's EGR Elevated Glass Railing Base Shoe is the heavy-duty base channel designed for elevated 1/2" (12 mm) tempered glass balusters installed using the Wet Glaze Method. The base shoe is intended to sit atop CRL EGR stanchions, providing required clearance for water and debris drainage—essential for high-rise, commercial, and balcony glass railing installations. Installation to the stanchions uses stainless steel socket head cap screw fasteners through pre-drilled, slotted holes at 24" (609.6 mm) on center after stanchions are set in the concrete substrate.
