The CRL PR70 Series of multi-size adjustable spring power surface-mounted door closers delivers versatile, commercial-grade control for lighter to heavy doors. Available in ADA-compliant Barrier-Free and Delayed Action configurations, the PR70 is ideal where low opening force or adjustable hold-open time is required—common in healthcare, public buildings, restaurants, and upscale retail environments.
Independent closing and latching speed controls plus an adjustable backcheck protect the closer, door, and adjacent structures from damage caused by violent opening (wind or heavy pedestrian traffic). Delayed Action models let you set how long the door remains open to help with ease of passage and accessibility.
All PR70 closers are UL Listed and backed by a ten-year warranty. Each unit includes parallel arm brackets and mounting hardware for regular, top-jamb, or parallel arm installations. Optional accessories such as drop plates and hold-open arms are available for special installations.
