The CRL DETEX® ECL230D Exit Control Lock with Short Bar is a code-compliant, battery-alarmed deadbolt panic device designed for secondary exits. This exit control lock with alarm features a rugged, attack-resistant design that withstands over 2,200 lbs (998 kg) of outside pull force and includes a saw-resistant deadbolt. A durable steel plate with a photo-luminescent sign absorbs light and "glows in the dark" for improved visibility in low-light conditions.
This non-handed exit lock accepts 5-pin through 7-pin standard and interchangeable core rim cylinders. Locking or unlocking the deadbolt automatically arms or disarms the alarm; resetting the alarm requires the control key. Cylinder and bar guard are sold separately.
