Overview

CRL Flat Tapered and "MAB" type spindles (SKU: CRL9040S28) are replacement door closer spindles designed to accommodate a range of threshold and finished floor heights. These floor closer spindles work with all CRL models and are compatible with Jackson® 900 and Dorma® BTS80 floor-mounted door closers. The flat tapered spindle accepts center-hung and offset bottom arms and fits CRL patch fitting inserts, making it a versatile choice for door closer repair and retrofit projects. The "MAB" style spindle is commonly specified in Europe and South America.
Product Warning:
To determine actual door clearance from finished floor, add 3/16" (5 mm) to the collar height. Example: 1/8" (3 mm) collar height + 3/16" (5 mm) = 5/16" (8 mm) door clearance from finished floor.
