CRL Edgetech Super Spacer® is a flexible, UV-resistant silicone foam spacer engineered for insulating glass applications. The foam spacer minimizes perimeter edge condensation and reduces overall window heat loss. Its flexibility accommodates glass bowing and thermal movement, making it ideal for curved, odd-shaped, triple-glazed, and sound-insulating IGUs with art glass inserts.
Super Spacer® features a high-performance, continuous multi-layer vapor barrier at corners for improved moisture resistance and longer edge seal life. The foam’s permeability allows fast moisture pick-up during fabrication. Rolls are 66' (20.1 m) long; other colors and bulk rolls available by special order.
Installation Note: Super Spacer® must be used with an edge sealant. We recommend CRL Hot Melt Butyl or CRL 877 Super Spacer Sealant.
