CRL Heavy-Bodied Mirror Mastic Adhesive Sealant, 1 Gallon

CRL Heavy-Bodied Mirror Mastic (SKU 600GL) is a heavy-bodied adhesive mastic formulated for adhering plate glass mirror and acrylic mirror to a variety of substrates, including drywall, wood, glass, metal and tile. Ideal for large mirrored walls, vanities and columns. May be used with CRL Category II Safety Tape Film after washing with a 70% isopropyl alcohol (IPA) solution. All mirror installations require permanent bottom support and mechanical fasteners. Qualifies for LEED® Green Building Rating System credit.


NOTE: Surfaces must be clean and dry. Store and apply adhesive in a warm environment. Prime porous substrates with Mirro-Mastic® Bond. Do not prime over painted surfaces. CRL Heavy-Bodied Mirror Mastic may be used with CRL Category II Safety Tape Film that has been washed (two-cloth method) with a 70% IPA solution.


Product Warning:

Test before use. Always follow the manufacturer's directions on the can. Do not apply 600GL Mastic to painted surfaces, wall coverings or treated wood. Use Palmer Mirro-Mastic® Bond to seal porous substrates. Support mirrors at the bottom and always use mechanical fasteners for all mirror installations (for example, CRL Mirror Clips or CRL Mirror Mounting Tape). Apply double-sided mirror mounting tape and mastic at room temperature following package instructions. If instructions do not cover your conditions, consult CRL Customer Service. Users must verify mastic suitability for each mirror backing and installation. CRL cannot guarantee materials against mirror spoilage. For ceiling mirror installations refer to PM201GL or PM205 Palmer mastics in cans. Contact CRL Technical Sales with any application questions.
