These CRL heavy‑duty commercial Grade 1 and 2 lever locksets are non‑handed and reversible. The built‑in clutch (Group 1) disengages the outer lever when the latch is locked to prevent latch failure from excessive torque—an important security differentiator for commercial door hardware and high‑traffic installations.
Fits door thicknesses 1‑3/8" to 1‑3/4" (35–45 mm) with a 2‑3/4" (70 mm) backset. Available with a Schlage® 'C' 6‑pin keyway or 7‑pin Small Format Interchangeable Core (SFIC). Includes ANSI 1‑1/4" x 4‑7/8" (32 x 124 mm) strike. UL Listed 3‑hour fire rating makes this an ideal choice for commercial buildings requiring code‑compliant, fire‑rated lever locksets.
STOREROOM FUNCTION: Outside lever always locked; key unlatches only. Inside lever always allows free egress—meets building egress and security needs for storerooms and utility rooms.
