CRL Hot Melt Butyl 3 LB Cakes (SKU: CRL30703) are compact, easy-to-insert butyl cakes designed for smaller melting pots and dispensing systems like CRL SS96, SS88, SS7 and Aztech ATXM1/ATX11. Packaged in coated release boxes (16 boxes per case), these 3 lb cakes simplify handling and reduce insertion time for insulating glass (IG) fabricators.
Insulating glass units made with the CRL3070 Series Hot Melt Butyl deliver strong structural adhesion with low residual tack, low argon permeability, and an exceptionally low moisture vapor transmission rate—key performance benefits for long-lasting IG seal integrity. Formulated to exceed ASTM E2188, E2189, E2190 (HIGS) specifications for IG sealants.
