CRL Hot Melt Butyl 6 Lb. Chunks are used in ATX11 and other dispensing systems with larger tanks. It is packaged in coated release boxes.
Insulating glass units made with CRL3070 Series Hot Melt Butyl have great structural adhesion with a low residual tack, low argon permeability, and an exceptionally low moisture vapor transfer rate. Formulated to exceed ASTM E2188, E2189, E2190 (HIGS) specifications.
Product Warning:
Hot melt butyl is dispensed at operating temperatures in excess of 350°F (177°C). Wear the proper safety gear including gloves, arm guards and protective eyewear to avoid burns and other injuries.
