CRL Hot Melt Butyl 6 Lb. Chunks (SKU: CRL30706) are packaged in coated release boxes and designed for use in ATX11 and other large-tank dispensing systems.
Insulating glass units made with the CRL3070 Series Hot Melt Butyl offer excellent structural adhesion, low residual tack, low argon permeability, and an exceptionally low moisture vapor transmission rate—all important for durable IG units and commercial window fabrication. This formulation exceeds ASTM E2188, E2189 and E2190 (HIGS) performance standards.
Product Warning:
Hot melt butyl is dispensed at operating temperatures above 350°F (177°C). Wear appropriate PPE — heat-resistant gloves, arm guards and protective eyewear — to prevent burns and other injuries.
