The CRL Insulating Glass Hot Trim Knife (SKU 1BK15) is a light, easy-to-handle hot melt butyl trimming tool that quickly finishes single or dual sealed units. Use it to trim excess butyl from sealed insulating glass units or to cut up large butyl slugs for faster processing in a thermal extruder system. Designed for fast, accurate finishing of IG units and window seal production lines.

Replacement solid brass tips are available when the tip becomes worn or caked with butyl—brass tips offer long service life and easy replacement to minimize downtime.
