CRL Jackson® Adjustable Spring Power Overhead Concealed Door Closer — adjustable from Size 1 (Barrier-Free) through Size 4 (Regular) to set spring power for A.D.A. handicap barrier-free opening force requirements. Ideal as an ADA compliant adjustable door closer and for installations needing a concealed overhead solution with threshold-mounted pivot control.
A.D.A. NOTE: Although the adjustable spring power closer can be set to compensate for site conditions, adequate closing force might not be obtained while complying with A.D.A. opening force requirements.
NOTE: An auxiliary floor or overhead door stop is recommended to prevent possible damage to the closer and entry due to over-extension of maximum allowable door swing.
The "GE" Package for this model includes: CRL8010FS Standard Mounting Clips, CRL8010S Side Load Arm Assembly, and CRL8010GE Bottom Pivot. The GE package is intended for new door installations with 1/2" (12.7 mm) deep top rail and side-load applications and will retrofit existing Jackson® and similar fixed-size closer installations.
