This CRL Jackson® Adjustable Spring Power Overhead Concealed Door Closer (SKU 21101S19) is a concealed overhead door closer designed for A.D.A. barrier-free applications. The adjustable spring power spans Sizes 1 (Barrier-Free) through 4 (Regular), enabling compliance with A.D.A. opening force limits while providing reliable door control across a wide range of door types and sizes. Ideal for contractors and architects specifying an ADA adjustable spring door closer or a concealed overhead door closer with floor-mounted pivot for 1-1/2" bottom rails.
A.D.A. NOTE: While the spring power is adjustable to compensate for site conditions, adequate closing force might not be obtainable in all installations when complying with A.D.A. opening force requirements.
NOTE: Use an auxiliary floor or overhead door stop to prevent damage from over-extension of maximum door swing.
Product Warning:
Closers set to meet A.D.A. opening force limits may not provide sufficient spring power to control and close the door in all site conditions or with larger/heavier doors.
