CRL Tremco® DyMonic® FC Polyurethane Sealant for Limestone

CRL Tremco® DyMonic® FC is a fast-skinning, high-performance, low-modulus, one-component moisture-curing polyurethane sealant engineered for dynamic construction joints. It cures to a smooth, consistent surface and guns easily with conventional caulking equipment. At 70°F (21°C) DyMonic® FC skins in approximately one hour, reducing dirt pickup compared with regular DyMonic® (typical skin time 16 hours). Use on properly prepared, dry substrates for best primerless adhesion.


Basic Uses
DyMonic® FC seals moving joints in precast concrete panels, curtainwall, tilt-up panels, expansion and control joints, perimeter caulking of windows and doors, and bedding of mullions, frames, and panels. Its combination of high strength, low modulus, and high recovery provides durable resistance to moisture, shear, and deflection movement while maintaining tenacious adhesion over the product life.

Technical Data
Meets U.S. Federal Specification TT-S-00230C, Type II, Class A; Canadian standard CAN/CGSB-19.13-M87; and ASTM C 920, Type S, Grade NS, Class 50 (DyMonic® FC) and Class 25 (DyMonic®), Use NT, M, A and O.

Limitations
Do not apply to damp or contaminated surfaces. Some substrates (for example certain high-performance paints or architectural finishes) may require priming. Painting over DyMonic® is not recommended because paint can crack or peel with joint movement. See cartridge label and the Specification Data Sheet for additional limitations.
