CRL Loctite U.V. Adhesive (SKU: UV349) is a one-part, medium-viscosity UV curing adhesive formulated for fast, optically clear bonds to glass, metal and some thermoplastics. Ideal for glass showcases, shelves, furniture and other precision glass assemblies, the adhesive cures in seconds when exposed to U.V. light from a curing lamp, producing a water-clear, hard surface with excellent environmental durability and resistance to discoloration.

UV349 cures under 365 nm U.V. radiation; cure speed depends on U.V. intensity at the product surface and coating depth. This formula demonstrates an outstanding ability to cure through large gaps and retains strength when exposed to moisture or humidity. Cured temperature resistance: -65 to 266 °F (-54 to 130 °C).

Loctite 20162 cleaner/degreaser is recommended for surface preparation. For best performance, bond surfaces should be clean and free from grease.

Important: UV curing requires that the bond line be exposed to ultraviolet irradiation. At least one bonded material must be transparent to U.V. light (e.g., glass-to-glass, glass-to-metal, plastic-to-metal). Metal-to-metal bonds will not cure.

Product Warning & Storage:
This product is U.V. sensitive. Minimize exposure to daylight, U.V. and artificial lighting during storage and handling. Store in unopened containers in a cool, dry place at 46–82 °F (8–28 °C); optimal storage is the lower half of this range. Provide cooling for temperature-sensitive substrates (thermoplastics). Test plastic grades for stress cracking risk when exposed to liquid adhesive.
