The CRL Low-e Coating Contact Meter (SKU: CM1030) quickly detects any conductive surface—including hard- or soft-coat Low-e coatings—on a single sheet of glass. Four non-scratch contact pads on the meter’s reverse side are pressed to the glass; if a conductive Low-e coating is present, an indicator light signals its detection. One 9V DC battery is included.
The CM1030 is ideal for quality control during manufacturing of Low-e insulated glass units (IGUs). No extensive training is required—use this compact Low-e coating detector to verify coating placement and avoid production mistakes.
