Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR10SMBL12C), is a high-security, fast-install glass door rail engineered for monolithic tempered glass. The exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) secures glass by applying bottom pressure through two aluminum glass-retaining extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is drawn down with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions wedge together in the rail groove, producing exceptional clamping force—more than 900 lbs. in the 9" (228.6 mm) Corner Rail—and even greater force in full-length rails.

The Wedge-Lock® system is optimized for installers: rails come completely fabricated with End Caps installed for rapid on-site setup. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. The Adjustable Door Alignment System (standard on both top and bottom rails) allows +/-1/8" (3.2 mm) field adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door. After installation, access three socket head cap bolts behind the End Cap to lock or fine-adjust the slide.
