Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, features the exclusive Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). This patented door rail for tempered glass secures the glass using two aluminum retaining extrusions pressed together by a stainless steel bar and socket head cap bolts. The angled extrusions seat into an angled groove in the rail, creating exceptional clamp force (more than 900 lbs. in our 9" corner rail) and unmatched long-term holding power in full-length door rails.

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers faster installation than competing glass door rails — experienced installers can prepare a door in under ten minutes. Rails ship fully fabricated with end caps installed; after rail installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail. The adjustable door alignment slide allows ±1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door, standard on both top and bottom rails.

To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt locks the slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" in or out. The low-profile slide lets pivots with slotted grooves be positioned off the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
