Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4TMBL12CL) features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). Designed for fast installation and heavy-duty glass retention, the system secures glass from the bottom using two aluminum glass-retaining extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is drawn down with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions wedge together in an angled groove inside the rail and compress a specially designed door retaining gasket, creating exceptionally high holding force in the corner and full-length rails.

The Wedge-Lock® system not only improves security and longevity for frameless glass doors, it significantly reduces install time — experienced installers can prepare a door for hanging in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship fully fabricated with End Caps installed. After rail installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail. The Adjustable Door Alignment System provides ±1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb on both top and bottom rails without door removal.

To adjust after installation, remove the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide, the two outer bolts permit the 1/8" (3.2 mm) in/out adjustment. The low-profile adjustable slide allows pivot placement other than the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
