An innovative commercial glass door rail system, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR6SMBL12S) uses the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) to secure monolithic tempered glass quickly and reliably. The design applies downward pressure through two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar tightened with socket head cap bolts. Angled extrusion bottoms engage an angled groove in the door rail so the wedge action compresses the extrusions and gasket, producing extreme clamping force (over 900 lbs. in our 9" corner rail) for durable attachment across full-length rails.

The Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System also reduces installation time—experienced installers can prepare a door in under ten minutes. Rails ship fully fabricated with End Caps installed and an assembled adjustable door alignment slide. Simply attach the door arm or pivot (not included) and hang the door.

The standard Adjustable Door Alignment System allows ±1/8" (3.2 mm) in/out adjustment at both top and bottom rails without removing the door. After installation, remove the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide and the two outer bolts provide the 1/8" adjustment. The low-profile slide enables pivots with slotted grooves to be positioned off the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), accommodating vertically out-of-square openings.
