This aluminum extrusion serves three applications for glass door and sidelite systems:

• As a U-channel the same width as sidelite and door rails for consistent sight lines.
• As a narrow header that accepts a top free-swinging pivot to secure the top of the doors.
• As an even sight line system when a fabricated narrow header is secured to the opening and the sidelite rail is attached using the 1/4" (6 mm) header saddle. Drilling, tapping and fabrication are available on request to save installation time.

Designed for storefront and interior glass door installations, this extruded aluminum header/U-channel provides a clean, matching sight line and compatibility with roll-in glazing gaskets and top pivot hardware—ideal for retrofits and new builds requiring precise glass rail alignment.
