These CRL Overhead Door Closer Kits (SKU: CRL8170A) include a Medium spring-size door closer, mounting clips, a Type "A" end-load arm, and a "DP" adjustable dual-purpose bottom pivot set. The closer body fits standard 1-3/4" x 4" (44 x 102 mm) or larger extrusions and is designed for doors with 1" deep top rails. Available in both 90Β° and 105Β° hold-open or no-hold-open models. Additional spring sizes, hardware options, and concealed accessories are available.
Independent Adjustment Valves
Non-critical valves independently control closing speed and latching speed for precise door control.
Special Retaining Rings
Retaining rings prevent adjustment screws from being fully backed out of the door closer body.
NOTE: Install an auxiliary floor or overhead door stop to prevent damage from over-extension of maximum allowable door swing.
