These CRL Overhead Door Closer Kits (SKU: CRL8160A) include a Medium spring size door closer body, mounting clips, a Type "A" endβload arm, and a "DP" adjustable dualβpurpose bottom pivot set. The closer uses independent, dualβaction valves to control both closing and latching speeds for reliable, adjustable performance. Models are available with 90Β° and 105Β° holdβopen or with no holdβopen. Closer bodies fit into standard 1β3/4" x 4" (44 x 102 mm) or larger extrusions. Additional spring sizes, hardware options, and overhead concealed accessories are available.
Independent Adjustment Valves
Nonβcritical valve control adjusts Closing Speed and Latching Speed independently for precise door control.
Special Retaining Rings
Retaining rings prevent adjustment valve screws from being backed completely out of the closer body for added durability.
Note: Install an auxiliary floor or overhead door stop to prevent damage from overβextension of maximum door swing.
